WORK EXPERIENCE
Work experience is essential for the boys in the Tech Department to get a grasp of what life could look like in the workforce after leaving school. It helps set figure out where their skill sets lie, what makes them tick and manage their expectations of where they want to go in their careers. It also helps them learn valuable lessons such as a positive and reliable work ethic and key responsibilities of work-life out in the 'real world'.
Patton Engineering brings a selection of boys in fortnightly for hands-on work experience in the workshop in a variety of tasks, where they then see their contributions to projects come to life.
Weldwell have also taken many boys on site to show them the world of welding solutions and we encourage all of our suppliers and stakeholders to get involved in having the boys on site, no matter what the industry.
